Buckle your dummy’s seatbelt - its the law.
A commuter in Bellevue, Wash was caught near seattle with a homemade dummy in the passenter seat. The driver used the dummy to sneak into the car pool lane. A cop who saw a dangling seat buckled pulled over the driver in what he thought would be a simple seat belt violation. Instead, the cop realized the passenger did not need a seat belt as he was a dummy - a fake that is.
A spokeswoman for the Patrol, Christina Martin, told The Herald of Everett the driver did acknowledge he was attempting to bypass traffic using the HOV lane and the dummy. The dummy passenger was created using a rain jacket drapped over plastic piping, a Halloween mask of Gandalf, the “Lord of the Rings” Wizard, a baseball cap, and a beard.
The driver was issued a $124 ticket and had his fake friend confiscated.

That’s awesome. I always wondered if people used dummies to get into the carpool lane. I imagined they did, but this is too funny.
EXACTLY. LAUGH IT UP!
